Barrio BBQ at Manchamanteles

Join us on Sunday, June 14th from 4:00–7:00 PM for a one-night Barrio BBQ in Bucktown—an immersive, chef-driven collaboration celebrating Mexican cuisine through live-fire cooking and community.

Led by Chef Geno Bahena, this special event brings together an all-star lineup of guest collaborators for a curated, walk-around tasting experience. Each station highlights a unique perspective, showcasing the depth, diversity, and regional expression of Mexican flavors.

Guests will enjoy 5 tasting courses, one from each station, in a format designed for exploration, movement, and connection.

We’re excited to welcome confirmed collaborators:
Pizza Lobo, Diego R, and Santa Masa Tamalería\ —with one more special guest to be announced.

The evening continues on our patio with a live DJ set, creating a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere throughout the event.

Tickets: $66 per person (plus tax and gratuity)

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant & Refugee Rights, supporting vital advocacy and services for immigrant communities.
